Waterless Toilet Stool – ADA Compliant
This waterless toilet is designed for use in remote locations such as wilderness areas, parks, campsites, farms, and other sites without access to sewer systems. The unit is intended to be installed over properly vented pits and features a vandal-resistant design. Its standardized floor opening allows for easy replacement of existing units. The toilet complies with ADA, ANSI, and UFAS accessibility standards and meets or surpasses the structural requirements of CSA B45.4-08. Final compliance may vary depending on local building code interpretations and authority requirements.
The toilet riser is constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with fully welded fabrication for durability. All visible surfaces have a satin-polished finish. The riser also includes a pre-drilled mounting flange at the base for secure floor installation.
The integrated toilet seat is made from 14-gauge Type 304 stainless steel and includes pre-punched holes to accommodate an optional plastic hinged seat.
Guide Specification
Supply and install the Acorn Vandal-Resistant Waterless Toilet Riser (include specified model number and selected options). The riser shall be manufactured from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin-polished finish on all exposed surfaces. The integral seat shall be fabricated from 14-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. All components shall feature fully welded construction. The unit shall include a pre-drilled flange for floor mounting and comply with ADA accessibility standards. The installer shall provide all necessary mounting hardware and floor anchors. Installation must be completed according to the
manufacturer’s instructions and recommendations.
